Fishing Report 11-7-17




The local reefs have been fishing quite well with the recent burst of colder temps and awesome weather periods over the last two weeks. In close the snapper have been easy to find on the quieter days, currimundi, gneerings and noosa have all been good locations to target them. Big grassys and pearl perch also being reported in the local catches, with the bigger fish coming from the banks and cal 12 mile. A few cobia and AJ's also around too.











Gutters are now more active with winter bream and quality flathead. A few reports of tailor from marcoola beach and also from kings beach off the rocks at night. Also more recent reports from the mouth of the maroochy river mouth of tailor.











Quite a few pictures coming in of quality bream being caught in the mooloolah river, some easily topping the 40cm mark. A few tailor down the passage as well as flathead, jew and a few whiting. Tailor in the maroochy river, noosa canals and also off mudjimba beach.
