Fishing Report 29/5/18

The conditions have started to cool off now and we have seen some increased activity from the cobia, snapper and jew fish on the local front.

The mackerel have started moving off north now , but still plenty of activty from sunshine reefs over the past few days. Tuna schools have been about the inclose reefs chasing the bait schools.

As the colder water temps start to drop we should start to see alot more larger bream, dart and also tarwhine in the local gutters. Some really nice jew have been caught off the beaches at night recently. marcoola, kings beach and also maroochy beach are worth a shot.

A lot of smaller jewfish in the estuaries at the moment, bigger schooling bream in and around the moorings and bridges. A few trevally and whiting in the lakes.

Bass , saratoga in borumba along the margins, bass in the deeper spots of ewen maddock dam on ice jigs.
