Fishing Report 4-6-17




The temperatures have started to drop off now with the coming of cooler months. Offshore still some quality mackerel getting about the in close waters along the coastline. Schools of tuna still bashing about the bait schools early morning and now we are also seeing some better quality snapper popping up in and around the local reefs. Lots of parrot around the banks and murphies reefs. Some solid grassy sweetlip reported around the currimundi reefs.











Gutters are now more active with winter bream and quality flathead. A few reports of tailor from marcoola beach and also from kings beach off the rocks at night.











Quite a few pictures coming in of quality bream being caught in the mooloolah river, some easily topping the 40cm mark. A few tailor down the passage as well as flathead, jew and a few whiting.
